osmosis (adj. osmotic)The diffusion of liquid through a semipermeable membrane (such as a cell wall) until there is an equal concentration on both sides of the membrane. The process by which water is taken up through the roots of a plant and transported throughout the structure.

- Additional Passes: If there are no hits in the first search, common word endings (-ing, -es, -ed, -ly) are stripped from the keywords and a second pass is made. If there is still no match, all non-word characters are stripped.
